Samsung’s flagship smartphone series is official and it includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Price

The Galaxy S22 starts at $799, while the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra have starting prices of $999 and $1,199, respectively.

Design

The Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus feature a similar design with curved edges while the Galaxy S22 Ultra looks like Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with boxy edges.

Display

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has the biggest 6.8-inch QHD display. The Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 feature 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch FHD displays, respectively.

Battery

There’s a 5,000mAh battery on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, a 4,500mAh on the Galaxy S22 Plus and a 3,700mAh on the Galaxy S22.

Fast charging

The charging speed also differs with 45W on the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Plus, and 25W on the Galaxy S22.

RAM and storage

The Galaxy S22 Ultra gets four variants with up to 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. The other two phones come in 8GB 128GB and 8GB 256GB variants.

Cameras

The Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus both feature 12MP, 50MP and 10MP rear cameras. The Ultra model has 12MP, 108MP, 10MP, and 10MP rear cameras.

S Pen

Only the Galaxy S22 Ultra gets a dedicated S Pen slot in the series.
