The iPhone SE 3 could be the cheapest iPhone ever, if new reports are anything to go by. While Apple has traditionally stuck to premium offerings, its ‘SE’ range of iPhones has been relatively affordable.

Now, it looks like the Cupertino-based company is set to come down a tier when it comes to the price of its upcoming iPhone SE 3, with some reports suggesting that it could cost as little as $300. For comparison, the second-generation iPhone SE 2020 was priced starting at $399 in the US.

Here’s everything we know about the iPhone SE 3:

According to Apple analyst John Donovan, the iPhone SE 3 price could start at $300 (approx. ₹22,700), down from the starting price of $399 (approx. ₹30,100) for the iPhone SE 2020.

This could mean that after taxes and duties, the iPhone SE 3 could be priced under ₹30,000 in India.

Previous reports have suggested that the iPhone SE 3 launch date could be March 8, which is when Apple is expected to also launch the iPad Air 5 and a new Mac mini powered by Apple’s M-series chip.

iPhone SE 3 features, specs and design

As far as the hardware is concerned, reports suggest that the iPhone SE 3 could be powered by the Apple A15 chipset with 5G connectivity support. Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo also believes that Apple could continue with a 4.7-inch LCD display this time, too, instead of offering a size or technology (OLED) upgrade.

While not much is known in terms of the cameras on the iPhone SE 3, the iPhone 8-like design could mean Apple will offer only a single camera this year, too.
