The Reno 12 series was launched in China and other global markets recently and has finally made its way to India. The two smartphones run on the custom MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset.
Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro price and availability
The The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is priced at ₹36,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹40,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant. It comes in Space Brown and Sunset Gold colour options and will go on sale starting from July 18 via Flipkart and Oppo Online Store.
Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro specifications
The Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro run on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s ColorOS 14.1 on top. The devices will get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.The Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro smartphones feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Reno 12 offers Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, the Reno 12 Pro comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset. The Reno 12 is available in a single memory variant, offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Reno 12 Pro is available in two variants – 12GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the Reno 12 features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX355 sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The device sports a 32MP selfie camera.
On the other hand, the Reno 12 Pro features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX355 sensor and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera with Samsung JN5 sensor. On the front, the device sports a 50MP selfie camera.
Both smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The smartphones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and come with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
