Samsung launches its latest budget device Galaxy A20s with triple camera

Samsung announced the launch of its latest budget device in its A series, dubbed the Galaxy A20s. The device is a refreshed version of the Galaxy A20 and was announced in Malaysia last month.

Samsung had earlier launched the Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s and the Galaxy A10s in India. The Galaxy A20s is a budget smartphone and features a 3D plastic back with a gradient finish. The highlight of the device is its triple camera setup and the 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge support.

The Samsung Galaxy A20s has been priced at Rs 11,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. It is available in Black, Blue and Green color options from Samsung online store, leading e-commerce portals and retail stores across the country.

Samsung Galaxy A20s specifications

The Galaxy A20s is a budget smartphone which is evident from its specifications. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top and sports a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution IPS LCD display with an Infinity-V notch. In contrast, the Galaxy A20 has a Super AMOLED display.

The Samsung Galaxy A20s is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset which is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. In terms of memory, it has been launched in two variants - 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. It has a dedicated microSD card slot which can be used to expand the internal storage up to 1TB.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy A20s has a triple camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle snapper and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel snapper housed in the Infinity-V notch.

Apart from that, the Samsung Galaxy A20s includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a microUSB port. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
