Samsung introduced the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite last week. As the name suggests, they are toned-down versions of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 respectively. While Samsung has not revealed the India launch details of both the smartphones, a few reports suggest that it will come to India next month.

As per a report by IANS, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be launched in India in the first week of February. It’s not clear yet if the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will also be launched at the same event.

As per the report, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be priced between ₹40,000 to ₹45,000 in India. Samsung could announce a few launch offers that could bring down the effective price further.

At present, the premium smartphone segment in India is dominated by OnePlus. Samsung could price the Galaxy S10 Lite strategically to help it compete better with the OnePlus 7T which now starts at ₹34,999.

The Galaxy S10 Lite features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The device is expected to be launched with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has four cameras in total.
