AdvertisementSamsung has finally launched its much-awaited Galaxy S23 series in India and globally at an event on Wednesday. A day after the launch, the company has now revealed the Indian prices of its flagship series.
The Galaxy S23 series is the successor of the Galaxy S22 series and brings in several upgrades over its predecessor. The devices are priced starting at ₹74,999 and are currently available for pre-booking.

All three Galaxy S23 series devices are available in India in four color options – Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender. In addition to these colors, the S23 Ultra will also be available in Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue options exclusively on the Samsung Online Store.
The devices are currently up for pre-booking on the company’s website.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra specifications
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most premium offering in the company’s S-series lineup and is packed with the best hardware.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, designed for the Galaxy S23 series and clocked higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It comes with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
AdvertisementComing to the optics, the device features a quad camera setup at the back consisting of a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 10MP periscope lens. It offers 10x zoom and 100x digital zoom. On the front, the device features a 12MP selfie camera.
It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that offers 45W fast charging, the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus specifications
The Galaxy S23, the most affordable device among the three, comes with a comparatively compact design, featuring a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. The Galaxy S23 Plus, on the other hand, sits in the middle and features a larger 6.6-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Both devices offer a 48-120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Like the S23 Ultra, the S23 and S23 Plus are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. While the Galaxy S23 is available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options, the Galaxy S23 Plus comes in 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB storage options.
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus feature the same triple camera setup at the back – a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. Both devices offer a 12MP selfie camera on the front, just like the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Galaxy S23 is still behind its peers in the battery department, featuring a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging support. The Galaxy S23 Plus also has a larger 4,700mAh battery with 45W charging support.
