As per a report by IDC, Vivo has emerged as the top smartphone brand in India in Q1 2024, with a market share of 16.2 percent, up from 15.4 percent in Q1 2023, registering a growth of 17.2 percent.

Samsung has recorded a 13.3 percent year-on-year decline and reported a market share of 15.6 percent in Q1 2024, down from the 20.1 percent market share in Q1 2023.

Xioami is on the third spot with a market share of 12.8 percent in 2023, up from 12.6 percent in Q1 2023, registering a 13.3 percent growth.

Oppo reported a slight decline of 1.8 percent, recording a market share of 10.2 percent in Q1 2024, down from 11.6 percent in Q1 2023.

Realme reported a 17.3 percent growth due to its Realme 12 series, recording a 9.8 percent market share, up from 9.3 percent in Q1 2023.

Premium smartphone maker Apple recorded a 7.3 percent market share in Q1 2024, up from 6.8 percent in Q1 2023, registering a 19 percent growth.

Poco recorded the second-highest growth at 72.2 percent, recording a 5.9 percent market share in Q1 2024, up from 3.8 percent in Q1 2023.

OnePlus reported a market share of 5.1 percent in Q1 2024, down from 6 percent in Q1 2023, registering a 5.4 percent decline.

Motorola has recorded the highest growth in the Indian smartphone segment, recording a 110 percent growth. It recorded a market share of 4.6 percent in Q1 2024, up from 2.4 percent in Q1 2023.

Tecno recorded a market share of 2.9 percent in Q1 2024, down from 3.4% in Q1 2023. The company recorded a 5.7 percent decline in shipments.
