1. Elon Musk received $6.7 billion in compensation in 2020. His compensation makes him the highest-paid chief executive in the US for three years running - earning eleven times more than the second highest-paid US CEO. Here's a breakdown of how Musk gets paid (it's not all in cash).

2. Bill Gates transferred another $2 billion worth of stock to Melinda French Gates. Since the couple announced their divorce in May, French Gates has received about $6 billion worth of stock in transfers. Get the full story here.
