10 Things in Tech: Uber wants to predict your habits, Apple and Google team up, and Lebron James eyes Complex Networks

May the Fourth be with you, friends. I'm Diamond Naga Siu, and I'm a proud dollar coin owner. But you know what I'd love even more than a $1 coin? A $1 trillion dollar platinum coin.

It would be no bigger than a regular coin. And minting it could be a solution to avert a major economic catastrophe (here's an explanation of the looming disaster, by the way).

This average-looking coin could prevent job losses, steep cuts to retirement savings, and other major financial blows.

Anyways, let's dive into today's tech.

8. Think twice before decking out your EV. Insider's car connoisseur Tim Levin breaks down the pros and cons of upgrading your EV to an all-wheel drive. Driving range is a major factor. Hit the gas — erm, accelerator — for the analysis here.

Odds and ends:

9. Former F16 pilot says there's 'no fighting chance' over Ukraine. The embattled country has repeatedly asked the US for fourth-gen fighter jets. But experts say these aircrafts don't stand a chance against Russia. Fly over for the defenseless situation here.

10. New Starbucks CEO shares what it was like working in stores. Every month, Laxman Narasimhan (learn all about him here) spent half a day working behind a Starbucks counter. He said the bev innovation is strong, while food is lagging. Take a sip of his other lessons here.

What we're watching today:
