1. Former Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh has died. Hsieh, 46, died from injuries he sustained in a house fire in Connecticut.
   
   
2. Tributes poured in for Tony Hsieh. Investors, journalists, politicians, and tech founders recounted his dedication to making people happy, his status as a visionary, and his creativity.
   
   
3. Apple suppliers are hedging their bets on China. Foxconn was already reported to be moving iPad production to Vietnam, while Pegatron will make some iPhones in India, according to Bloomberg.
   
   
4. CISA's former chief says there was no vote manipulation. Chris Krebs, the former director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, said almost all of the ballots cast in the 2020 election had a paper trail and that there was no evidence that the machines were hacked or manipulated.
   
   
5. The UK will ban Huawei in 5G. The move is part of a wider package of measures introduced to diversity of the UK's mobile supply chain, Bloomberg reports.
   
   
6. Silicon Valley may be over. Some tech elites are making moves out of San Francisco, as they rethink the area's costs, political climate, safety, and more.
   
   
7. Netflix will declare above $1.3 billion in UK revenue. Netflix's European headquarters are in Amsterdam and, like other tech giants such as Google and Amazon, the company has up til now used its more favorable tax jurisdiction to its advantage.
   
   
8. We spoke to the man behind dystopian bioshield BioVyzr. Yezin Al-Qaysi told Business Insider the idea arose in April when he was concerned about his vulnerable mother becoming infected with COVID-19.

10. UK payments startup Primer has raised $18.7 million without a pitch deck. The 10-month-old startup offers low-code payments infrastructure and online checkout API.
