That’s crazy fast as the biggest names you now know as Instagram, TikTok and even Google took way longer to achieve the feat. In this post, let’s take a look at how long did the biggies take to reach the 100 mn mark.

ChatGPT is an AI chatbot powered by OpenAI, an artificial research and development company, designed to understand natural language. It was launched in November 2022 and crossed 100 million users in just two months. That’s quite fast.

TikTok

TikTok is a Chinese short-video platform that was launched in 2016. It gained popularity worldwide but is currently banned in India and some other countries. However, the application showed a boom and crossed 100 million users in only 9 months.

Google was launched in 1998 and crossed 1 million users in 1 year.

Instagram

Instagram was launched in October 2010 and became immensely popular with over 100 million users in almost 2.5 years. Also, Instagram stories crossed 100 million active users only in two months after the launch in October 2016.
