Former late-night talk-show host turned hit podcast host Conan O'Brien is selling his production company, Team Coco, and its podcasts to SiriusXM in a deal sources tell the Wall Street Journal is worth $150 million.
O'Brien will executive-produce a new Team Coco comedy channel on the satellite-radio service, SiriusXM said in a press release on Monday morning, but the hit podcast "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend" will remain on the streaming services where it's currently available.
The deal includes a guarantee that O'Brien will remain with the company for the next five years.

The podcast he hosts, "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," features lengthy interviews with celebrities. It is among the most popular podcasts on Apple's podcast service and Spotify. Beyond O'Brien's marquee show, Team Coco produces the hit shows "May I Elaborate?" hosted by JB Smoove and "Literally!" hosted by Rob Lowe.
SiriusXM's acquisition of Team Coco is the latest in a series of major podcast production and talent acquisitions by larger media platforms.
Spotify is said to have paid $200 million to acquire exclusive rights to comedian Joe Rogan's podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience," and $230 million for the podcast production company Gimlet Media.
SiriusXM paid upwards of $325 million to acquire Stitcher back in 2020, which included the podcast network Earwolf.
A representative for SiriusXM declined to comment on the terms of the deal, and representatives for Team Coco did not respond to a request for comment as of publishing.
