- Here’s everything you need to know about the latest smartwatch from Crossbeats.
For those unaware, ChatGPT is an AI-powered chatbot from OpenAI that has become popular over the past few months. In addition to this, the smartwatch also comes with an e-book reader, another first for a smartwatch.
“We’re embarking on an exciting journey into innovative, purpose-driven solutions with the launch of Crossbeats Nexus. We are also looking forward to making substantial investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, incorporating cutting-edge technology,” said Archit Agarwal, co-founder, Crossbeats.
The Crossbeats Nexus has been priced at ₹5,999 and will be launched during Diwali. The smartwatch will be available in two colour options – Black and Silver.
Crossbeats has announced a ₹999 pre-order pass, which will allow users to avail a discount on the smartwatch and also get goodies when they purchase the device.
The main highlight of the Crossbeats Nexus is its ChatGPT integration. While the complete level of integration is not known, we expect it to be aimed at user training and general queries.
The device features a 2.1-inch AMOLED display and comes with over 500 customisable watch faces, allowing you to set the watch face as per your preference.
Crossbeats has said that the smartwatch comes with an e-book reading function, allowing you to read your ebooks on the go. While the addition of new features is good, it may not be very practical to read a book on a smartwatch.
Another interesting feature that the company has added is the dynamic island, seen on iPhones. The dynamic island will offer a quick view at notifications.
In terms of health and fitness tracking, the smartwatch offers heart rate tracking, blood oxygen tracking, blood pressure tracking, sleep tracking, activity tracking and more.
It comes with GPS dynamic route tracking, altimeter, barometer and a compass. It is claimed to offer a battery life of up to seven days on a single charge.
