Lenovo’s rollable concept laptop

The rollable laptop features a 12.7-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio when in its default mode. But with the press of a button, a pair of internal motors smoothly extend the screen from beneath the keyboard, transforming it into a nearly square 15.3-inch display with an 8:9 aspect ratio.

Li-Fi or Light Fidelity wireless technology

Li-Fi is a wireless technology that uses light to transmit data between two devices, employing light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to achieve high-speed communication over the visible light spectrum. Compared to Wi-Fi, Li-Fi boasts several benefits, including faster speeds and enhanced security measures.

Satellite communications on smartphones

Qualcomm is partnering with satellite service provider Iridium to integrate satellite communication, making it easier for smartphone manufacturers to access this technology. The collaboration will enable two-way texting and other emergency communication to smartphones.

OnePlus 11 Concept

OnePlus has unveiled its OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone, featuring an innovative liquid cooling technology called Active CryoFlux that can lower temperatures during gaming and charging. OnePlus claims that this technology can also boost frame rates by up to 3 to 4 fps and reduce charging time.

Motorola

At the event, Motorola displayed its rollable phone prototype called the Rizr, which boasts a 5-inch display with a 15:9 aspect ratio that can vertically expand to a 6.5-inch diagonal with a 22:9 aspect ratio.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 13 at an earlier event, but at MWC 2023, the company unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Pro along with its latest offerings: the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro in-ear headphones, Watch S1 Pro, and Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition glasses.

Honor

Honor unveiled two new flagship phones at MWC 2023: the Honor Magic 5 Pro and the foldable Honor Magic Vs. The former features a curvy design, three 50-megapixel camera sensors, and a massive 5100mAh battery, while the latter boasts a gapless design, a slimmer build, impressive camera capabilities, and longer battery life than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4.
