The Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been launched in India today at its Unpacked event. Samsung has marked the entry with its latest flagships, the standard S23, the S23+ and the premium S23 Ultra with high-end camera specifications.

All three smartphones are powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a significant upgrade from earlier versions. The other changes are minor, including a slight redesign, updated chipset, and camera capabilities. The Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ are very similar to the previous year’s models, but S23 Ultra has made a significant upgrade with a 200MP camera. The other three rear cameras remain unchanged but the selfie camera has dropped to 12MP from 40MP.

Like their predecessors, the Galaxy S23 and S23+, are the most affordable devices in the series. The Galaxy S23 features a 6.1-inch, and Galaxy S23+ features a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to prevent the display from minor scratches.

The devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM. The Galaxy S23 has two storage options, 128GB and 256GB, whereas S23+ is available in 256GB and 512GB of internal storage options.

Coming to the optics, the devices come with a 50MP primary camera with 3X optical and 30X space zoom. Besides this, you get a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 10MP telephoto lens. Both of the devices come with a 12MP selfie camera. Talking about camera capabilities, both of devices get Super HDR, Nightography, OIS, Auto Framing, and more.

Talking about video recording capabilities, both of the devices can record 4K video at 60fps.

The Galaxy S23 is powered by a 3,900mAh battery, and the Galaxy S23+ is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with super fast charging support and fast wireless charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra features a large 6.8-inch QHD+ display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. One of the main highlights of the device is 200MP primary camera.

The device is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the premium S23 Ultra comes with a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 10X optical and 100X space zoom. It is equipped with a 10MP selfie camera. Talking about the camera capabilities, it features Super HDR at 60fpd, Nightography, Adaptive pixel, and more. The device comes with the capability to record 4K videos at 60fps.

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, similar to the S22 Ultra. It comes with 45W fast charging support and comes with wireless charging. It also comes with Wireless PowerShare, allowing you to charge other devices.
