The movie trailer shows characters Neo and Trinity hand-in-hand leaping from a high-rise building with Salesforce Tower in view.
This is only San Francisco's latest cameo in a big box office movie. The bay city starred in Marvel's hit "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," with the Fairmont Hotel and the city's Muni bus system featured in an action-packed scene at the beginning of the film.
"The Matrix 4: Resurrections" opens in theaters on December 22.
