Led by DN Capital with support from Ventech and btov Partners, the startup said the funds generated would be used to expand its offices in London and Berlin. Some of Chattermill's best known clients include Uber, Monzo, Deliveroo and Transferwise.

"Our mission is to help every business become truly customer-focused," said Dubov. "Every decision made at every level of an organisation should be taken with the customer in mind if teams want to win in today's experience economy.

"This isn't limited to customer service departments, but should inform everyone across product, operations, marketing, and the leadership team."

Nilam Peris, VP of growth at Transferwise, said he decided to invest in Chattermill after "seeing first-hand the value [it] can add". He said: "The product is helping many businesses grow while making sure their customers get the best possible experience."
