An operating system is system software that manages computer hardware and software. It provides essential services for all your computer programs. Different types of operating systems are introduced. However, preferences differ from person to person. People working for long hours on Mac might prefer windows 10. The wide range of app support makes Windows 10 the best option for gamers.

Why Windows 10?
Windows 10 has come a long way since 2015 and surpassed Windows 7 in the most used operating system category in the world. It mostly preferred OS due to the improved app snapping, virtual desktops, and improved touch support. The free and regular updates also let Windows 10 stand out from other systems.

Every coin has two sides, one good the other bad. Same applies to Windows 10. It also has many issues.

Let’s go through the problems one by one.

Design:
Before Windows 10, Windows 8 was a huge design change, towards the touch, which made traditional desktop work burdensome. Windows 10 has features of both Windows 7 and Windows 8. But this combination of style and function disturb the flow and consistency across the user interface, incorporating design inconsistencies all the more. The new Windows setting page is the first setting page you see when you feel the need to adjust the display settings. But as you observe carefully, you will notice that the control panel hasn’t changed much since its design in the 1990s.

The altered design language of Windows appears better than the new UI. In Windows 10, Microsoft is slowly replacing metro design in Windows 8 with fluid layout.

There is a considerable gap in the button design and their function; they do not carry out the task assigned. Some features, such as photos, feel incomplete years after their introduction. This lacuna is carried forward to the contacts menu that shows four different windows, making the feature confusing and redundant.

Updates:
Apart from these issues, another feature that annoys the users is the updates. The updates are aggressive as they reboot the PC automatically without notifying the users’. This leads to loss of data many times. You cannot avoid the updates. The quality of the updates is also failing to impress the audience.

Privacy:
The third significant concern is privacy. Aggressive data collection and telemetry are the concerns that are marrying the quality leading to loss of trust in customers.

All these issues, however, are not deep-rooted; they are only on the surface. They do not hinder with the functioning of Windows 10.
