  • The Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle and Xbox One X are back on sale at Amazon and Walmart for close to their Black Friday prices.
  • Both consoles can play the same games, use the same accessories, and have almost all of the same features. The key difference is that the Xbox One X can play games at 4K instead of HD.
  • Another factor to consider is that the Xbox One S is cheaper and comes bundled with Minecraft, a popular game. If you're thinking about giving a console as a gift, that makes it the better option.
  • The consoles are about $10 cheaper at Walmart, but both are available with two-day shipping on Amazon if you have Amazon Prime.

If you're still upset about missing your chance to snag an Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle or Xbox One X on Black Friday, it's not too late to get a good deal; They're back on sale now at Amazon and Walmart.

At Walmart the Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle is $229.95 and the Xbox One X is $409.95. Their Black Friday prices were $199.99 and $399.99 respectively, which are not far off.

Amazon's prices are around $10 more expensive, but you get the benefit of two-day shipping if you have Amazon Prime. The Xbox One X that's currently on sale says that the model has been "discontinued" on Amazon, but that's only because Microsoft has released new bundles that include the console and a game.

If you're having trouble picking between the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, there's only one major difference between them: the Xbox One X is powerful enough to play games in 4K instead of HD (1080P). If you have a 4K TV and want the absolute best experience, the Xbox One X is the way to go.

Beyond that, both systems are identical. They can play the same library of popular games (including Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Overwatch, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider), are compatible with the same accessories, run the same apps (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc.), and support HDR (high dynamic range), which makes the colors in modern games really pop.

The only other thing worth considering is that the Xbox One S comes bundled with Minecraft, an extremely popular game that lets you create entire worlds out of pixelated blocks. Think of it like a set of digital LEGO. The game is especially popular with younger gamers, so if you're buying a system for a kid in your life, the Xbox One S bundle may be the better option.

That's especially true because younger gamers probably won't care about having the best-looking games, or notice a difference.

These console deals are particularly good considering neither one is part of an Amazon or Walmart deal of the day or general video game sale. But if you're interested, you're better off getting these systems now, since they could pop back up to their full price at any time.
