This Fourth of July, we'll celebrate the 240th anniversary of the United States of America's independence from Britain with fireworks, car deals, and grilled meats.
It's also a good time to think about American history - namely, the people who made the decision to break away from the Mother Country and found a new system. It's very easy to picture the Founders as an elite group of politicians, lawyers, and military men.
