The Galaxy Note 4 has a plastic back that lets users remove the battery and add microSD storage. The Note 5 may have a glass back which may not be removable.

Leaks obtained by SamMobile are reinforcing rumors that the Galaxy Note 5 will have a glass back similar to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

That means the Note 5 probably won't have a removable back, which is bad news for people who like to switch out their batteries or add additional storage for media with a microSD card.

SamMobile also reports that both the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will feature 5.7-inch displays.

There's no mention about the Note 5's rumored curved back, nor was there any indication that Samsung is working on a successor to the Galaxy Note Edge, which had a single curved edge on the display's right.

Despite the new premium materials on the new Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, Samsung has been experiencing its seventh quarterly year-on-year decline in profit, and its revenues are down 8.4%. It means that premium materials aren't enough for consumers to choose Samsung devices over others.
