However, a "hostel" is simply "budget-friendly accommodation that focuses on a shared social experience." While to be considered a hostel it must have the option of a dorm room, most offer private rooms as well - and instead of messy and loud, some can actually be pretty luxurious.Business Insider teamed up with hostel booking site Hostelworld and its HOSCAR ranking of the best hotels in the world to discover where you'll find the most luxurious hostel in every European country for under £40 ($54).
