Hospitality start-up ArkHAUS is launching a floating lifestyle club in Miami with 360 memberships priced between $6,250 and $10,000 a year.

The Miami club will open in Spring 2023, ArkHAUS founders Sam Payrovi and Nathalie Paiva told Insider. They plan to open additional locations in NYC, San Diego, Mexico, and Dubai.

The structure will be made of four "livable yachts" built by the company Arkup.

One of Arkup's residential houseboats is currently docked off of Miami's Star Island. The futuristic vessels are entirely powered by rooftop solar panels.

The $5.5 million vessel is designed to withstand Category 4 hurricanes and rising sea levels.

ArkHAUS's blueprint for the Miami club features a natural pool in the middle. The individual boats will also be available for charters, according to the company's crowdfunding page.

The club will most likely be located in the "open water" 100 yards away from the city's seawall, the ArkHAUS founders said.

They plan to shuttle members to the club from three different pick-up spots located along Miami's coast.

During harsher weather, the four decks can fold up over the club's windows to create a protective barrier.

ArkHAUS will host live music, serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offer wellness options such as yoga classes, Paiva told Insider.

"The club is completely stable," Payrovi added. "So unlike boats, it's not rocking when it's in the water, which is great when people are eating and drinking in the club."

Nearly 100 of ArkHAUS's 360 memberships have already sold, according to Paiva. There are 90 pre-sale memberships left at $6,250 a year. Once those sell out, the price will bump up to $7,500 and then $10,000 a year, per the company's website.

Ten of the memberships are NFT "forever memberships" — four of which have been sold. The NFT below sold for 10 ETH, worth approximately $32,000 at the time of sale.

To add to the company's sustainability goals, ArkHAUS has partnered with the Seaworthy Collective to conduct ecological research underneath the club.

"We've actually nicknamed the project 'party up top research on bottom,'" Payrovi said. "We think the members are going to love the fact that there's all this activity happening below their feet."
