Elon Musk has said some truly wild things about the new and upcoming Tesla Roadster, which still only exists as a concept car.

It's not clear when the Roadster will officially become available but Musk has said that it would have a claimed top speed of 250 mph and a 620-mile range from a 250 kWh battery pack. And he tweeted in June 2018 that it would have a "SpaceX option package" that includes about "10 small rocket thrusters."

What that would look like or how it would be implemented is anyone's guess, but Slav Popovski, a CGI artist and aircraft avionics engineer based in Sydney, Australia, took it upon himself to simulate what a rocket thruster-powered Tesla Roadster would look like accelerating from zero to 60 mph.

First spotted by InsideEVs, Popovski posted his video on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, writing, "This is how fast 1.1 seconds 0 - 60mph take off should look like with Space X package thrusters on the Tesla Roadster. Computer worked out physics and then visualised in a render animation."
