Berlin startup Beach Inspector has a lofty goal: to visit every beach in Europe by the end of 2016, and more than 14,500 beaches worldwide by 2017.

Like a search engine but for beaches, the app and website deploys a team of real people to coastal destinations around the world to deliver their first-hand accounts. These so-called beach inspectors deliver an official ranking and review of each beach visited, focusing on four categories of inspection: families, water sports, relaxation, and party.

The Beach Inspector team has already visited over 600 beaches in Spain and Portugal, and has shared the following list of nine all-around best beaches in Spain.
