Odd-even.com, which was developed in 2015 by 13-year-old Akshat, matches individuals to potential ride-share or carpool in the direction of their commute.

As per the deal, he will be a part of Orahi’s technical advisory board and will be mentored by the company for a year.

"The name is catchy and easy to remember. It currently has 30,000 users and we anticipate more users to register after the second phase of odd-even rule comes into effect on April 15," said Orahi CEO Arun Bhati.

It is noteworthy Orahi recently raised Rs 3.5 crore from a group of investors from the Indian Angel Network (IAN).
