Oppo launches a whole new smartphone line-up starting with a 10x zoom
Oppo’s Reno series of smartphones have finally landed on Indian shores. The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom camera is first in the series to launch in the country. The phone will go on sale starting June 7 starting at a price of ₹39,990. Oppo is also launching the standard Reno phone which has a Shark-fin camera at price of ₹32,990.

The 10x hybrid zoom is obviously the phone’s main selling point, but the fact that it has an AI-drive ultra clear engine with the sole purpose of assisting with night photography is an added bonus for camera-centric buyers.
Flipkart gets a slap on the wrist for deep discounting in India
The Indian government is serious about the new e-commerce rules and isn’t afraid to show it. Flipkart has been banned from selling GOQii products on the platform because of deep discounting, something that’s prohibited under the new guidelines.

The much awaited sales and discounts on Amazon and Flipkart have already started to dissipate from the online shopping portals. And, looks like they won’t be back anytime soon. Bargain hunting for the best deals might have to happen offline — that is until Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Retail makes its entry. Being a local e-commerce platform, it won’t be subjected to the new e-commerce policy rules.

Microsoft is kicking off its free for all Week of AI 5-day training programme in India where anyone can sign up. AI workshops will be conducted online so that employees and managers alike can understand how AI is going to change the future of work.
