The Indian government released its annual list of rankings of the educational institutions in India under the national institutional ranking framework 2019, listing the top universities as well as top schools across several domains.

In its list of top colleges, Miranda House and Hindu College of Delhi University were the top performers. The rankings are based on a number of parameters including Teaching, Learning & Resources, research, placement metrics, and outreach & women participation.
