The government has launched a toll-free helpline number - 08046110007 -- for people who may face any mental health issue due to the ongoing countrywide lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus. <br /><br />In its daily briefing on the coronavirus situation in the country, the health ministry said on Sunday the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, has launched the number. <br /><br />"We are under a lockdown and behavioural issues are very important under such situations. It is a new process. If there are any behavioural issues, lack of understanding for that we at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bangalore in collaboration with all other institutes has been trying to provide guidance. <br /><br />"National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) has also launched a toll free number 08046110007. India launches mental health helpline to help people deal with lockdown stress

<br /><ul><li>Domino’s has resumed its contactless delivery services in New Delhi according to an alert sent to customers.</li><li>The services were initially launched on March 17 but suspended thereafter when the country went under a 21-day lock down.</li><li>The company claims that its restaurants, delivery bikes, delivery bike boxes, and pizza delivery hot bags are sanitised every four hours</li></ul>The pizza delivery mammoth Domino’s has resumed contactless delivery in the national capital today, March 29. He will have access to the boxing hall where he will educate the boxers on technicalities. The idea is to keep them connected and aware," he said. <br /><br /> "We hope things improve and the lockdown ends but we can't start from the scratch when that happens. Mary Kom and other Olympic-bound boxers will train online during nationwide lockdown

The ubiquitous rosogolla, sondesh, misti doi are all off the platters of the sweet- toothed Bengalis during the unprecedented lockdown over the coronavirus threat.<br /><br />But they are not the only ones feeling bitter. The sweet shop owners, who are staring at huge losses, have urged the state authorities to grant them permission to run their businesses, even if not at full throttle.<br /><br />They say the milk procured by them is getting wasted and their employees being rendered jobless.<br /><br />Milkmen, who have signed annual contracts with shop owners, are at a loss trying to figure out what to do with the produce in the absence of proper distribution channels, a member of a sweet makers' association said.<br /><br />"A few have been able to supply milk to the shops, while others have been citing transport curbs as the reason for not being able to deliver. Either way, shop owners are paying up, but the milk is going down the drain for lack of any plan to put them to good use, Dhiman Chandra Das, a member of Paschim Bango Mistanna Byabosayee Samity (sweet makers body), said.<br /><br />Chandra assured that if they are allowed to run shops, the owners would abide by all safety precautions.<br /><br />"We are aware of the dangers of the pandemic. We understand the necessity of the lockdown. But we have been urging the authorities to find a solution so that the huge quantity of milk bought by sweet shops doesnt go waste.<br /><br />We had requested the food processing department, too, to look at the matter, but there has been no response," Das complained.<br /><br />Arun Dey, the owner of a popular shop in Hooghly district, said sweet makers account for more than 60 per cent of the milk that is bought in a day.<br /><br />"As of now, we have asked our milkman not to deliver.<br /><br />We can only hope that once the lockdown is lifted, we will be able to run our business as usual," he said.<br /><br />Another shop owner in Ballygunge area said sweets and other dairy products worth Rs 90,000 got wasted in her store after the lockdown was imposed.<br /><br />"We want the government to open a window for us. We know there is a major crisis. But we hope things will get better," she said.<br /><br />Das said at least one lakh sweet shops across Bengal were reeling under losses.<br /><br />"I am not saying that we should be allowed to make and sell our regular products. <p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><ul class="summary-list"><li><strong>Indian music channel T-Series is about to overtake <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/category/pewdiepie?r=US&amp;IR=T" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PewDiePie</a> as the most subscribed channel on YouTube.</strong></li><li><strong>Research firm Tubular Labs has predicted that T-Series will overtake PewDiePie's 67 million subscribers by Monday 29 October.</strong></li><li><strong>T-Series already has more views than the Swedish YouTuber.</strong></li><li><strong>T-Series posts Indian music videos to its channel and is growing at a rapid clip, possibly thanks to India's still-growing smartphone population.</strong></li></ul><p>PewDiePie, the Swedish vlogger known in real life as Felix Kjellberg, has long been the most popular personality on YouTube.</p><p>Despite purported Nazi jokes and racist comments, PewDiePie has racked up 67 million subscribers to his channel, making him the most subscribed YouTuber of all time. It isn't unusual for his videos to garner anywhere between three and five million views a few days after being posted.</p><p>But, according to analysis from Tubular, PewDie is likely to lose that long-held top slot on Monday 29 October to T-Series, a Bollywood channel with 66 million subscribers that most Westerners have never heard of.</p><p>It already has more views than the Swedish YouTuber, but now it's on track to beat him in terms of numbers of subscribers.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><p>T-Series isn't an individual, like Kjellberg, but a Mumbai-based film and entertainment company which has been around for decades. <a href="https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/a3qb54/the-rise-of-t-series-the-youtube-channel-that-will-soon-dethrone-pewdiepie">According to this Motherboard profile of T-Series</a>, the company started out as an audio cassette firm and offers music videos that go beyond Bollywood - which mostly consists of Hindi songs - with regional languages such as Tamil.</p><p>T-Series' YouTube channel comprises entirely Indian music videos. Its most viewed video is the song "Lahore" by Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa with 601 million views.</p><p>There are a few reasons T-Series has the advantage over PewDiePie. Its channel is more prolific than PewDiePie's, posting six videos in the space of 24 hours versus two from PewDiePie. As a one-man band, Kjellberg can't keep up.</p><p>India also has a population of 1.3 billion people and, unlike many Western markets, <a href="https://www.emarketer.com/content/more-than-a-quarter-of-india-s-population-will-be-smartphone-users-this-year">smartphone adoption is still growing</a>. The country remains obsessed with Bollywood, and so it's natural that new smartphone owners would turn to YouTube to find their favourite hits. If anything, it's surprising a Bollywood-oriented channel took this long to become the number one YouTuber.</p><p>As a result, T-Series is growing at a much faster clip than PewDiePie. According to Tubular, the Bollywood channel gained 4.2 million subscribers in September. PewDiePie gained just 863,000.</p><p>PewDiePie has talked about the rivalry with T-Series, and apparently expressed reservations that an "indie" YouTuber might be supplanted by a corporate channel.</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggsqvFsgoKk&amp;t=1116s">In a video posted October 21, he said</a>: "I don't really care about T-Series, I generally don't, but I think if YouTube does shift in a way where it does feel more corporate, then something else will take its place. You can also make your own adjustments to the EQ by selecting the custom option in the Sound Settings, but your scope is limited to only three broad frequencies of Bass, Middle and Treble. We recommend using the DJ effects (flanger and isolator) only when the party in the house reaches its peak — trying these among fully functioning people may get you the moniker of the most annoying person in your group. Just in case you want to take things up a notch, you can try the Fiestable app for even more DJ effects — yes, here you get the ability to control flanger and isolator effects using your phone’s motion sensor, which is honestly clumsier than a monkey riding a bike. In terms of codecs, it supports SBC, AAC and Sony’s own LDAC. <br /><br />I listened to a variety of songs on the speaker, from Bollywood bangers to high-energy EDM songs and even had a mini weekend party to get a sense of what it’s capable of.<br /><br />In its most ‘organic’ settings, with all the fancy equalisation turned off, it’s a very balanced and capable speaker. One thing I’ve observed with several speakers with passive radiators is that the high frequencies or the treble kind of get lost in the quest for bone-shaking bass. But that’s not the case here. The frequencies are separated very nicely and the bass doesn’t overpower the mids and the highs. This airy atmosphere is something that several Bluetooth speakers struggle to reproduce.<br /><br />Live performances too can be enjoyed very well with these. I tried out John Mayer’s magnum opus concert Where The Light Is Live at LA and it delivered. Since the concert has three different sets (acoustic, rock trio and a full orchestral band), I could put the speaker’s spatial resolution to its limits. Here, the SRS-XG500 did have its limitations as a standalone speaker, but it was able to give a good sense of which instrument was making what sound and from where. <br /><br />If you are hoping to get a good soundstage, you may have to pair this up with another compatible Sony speaker. <br /><br />But where this speaker really feels at home is playing upbeat, high tempo, bass-heavy music. Cranking that MegaBass mode on a club-banger does take the party to a different level. This is more pronounced at higher volumes, as the passive radiators can be unleashed then. <br /><br />I played a variety of songs in a mini house party by artists including (but not limited to) Doja Cat, Kanye West, Drake, BTS, Sean Paul, Lil Nas X, Diljit Dosanjh, Micky Singh, Guru Randhawa, Kid Laroi, Enrique and Pitbull, and it consistently delivered punchy audio. <br /><br />I also tried the guitar plugin feature while jamming to a track I made on GarageBand. The raw output of my electric guitar (without a guitar processor or interface) was a little too warm to my liking. Connecting my guitar processor helped a lot and I also liked the fact that there’s a separate knob for changing mic/guitar input volume. If you’re planning to connect a semi-acoustic guitar, make sure it has an equaliser on it. <br /><br />That being said, if you want to entertain yourself or your guests with your guitar chops or just by plugging in a microphone for a karaoke night, you’re going to have a lot of fun. <br />                            <div type="image" title="5" msid="86009626" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The speaker comes with a nifty little handle to carry it around. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />While all of this was mostly on Apple Music with the highest streaming settings, the speaker managed to perform well even on video streaming platforms such as YouTube. There’s a noticeable difference in sound quality, but that’s only because of the bitrate of the two services.<br /><br />Watching movies, TV shows or podcasts can be a bit tricky though, as the sound is too bassy, and it can quickly get a little distracting. I observed that the background score or laugh tracks often overpowered the vocals. In podcasts, the low end seeped into the speaker’s voice, making it a bit difficult to hear. For this, I recommend diving down into the sound settings of the app and turning down the Low frequency in the custom EQ. <br /><br />The best part is, there is no compromise on thump even at low volumes — that’s the sweet spot that you’d mostly be hitting while chilling by yourself or working from home. <br /><br /><cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="Big on battery" comment="subhead" text="Big on battery"><span data-til="noop">Big on battery</span></cmsannotation><br /><br />The SRS-XG500’s bulky design helps it accommodate a large battery that has a claimed playtime of 30 hours (with MegaBass turned on and volume at 19%). It also ships with a proprietary fast charger that claims to provide 3 hours of playtime with just 10% of charge. These are impressive figures, and they somewhat hold up in real life as well. It managed to sustain my excitement (read abuse) of playing loud music at 60-80% volume for almost two and a half days. I also managed to fully charge my phone twice during this period. These are impressive figures. Charging the speaker entirely took about two and a half hours. If you aren’t planning on holding parties every day, you may want to keep this plugged in, and Sony did think about it. It packs quite a punch, along with great connectivity options and an everlasting battery. The IP66 certification is a great peace of mind feature, as parties do tend to get messy more often than not. And even if you aren’t a party person, the ability to carry around a powerful Bluetooth speaker around the house is a great thing to have.
