As expected, the three smartphones launched are the S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. In addition, the company also launched four new laptops in its Galaxy Book3 range - The Galaxy Book3 360, Galaxy Book3 Pro, Galaxy Book3 360 Pro, and Galaxy Book3 Ultra. But we'll save the laptops for later and take a closer look at what the new phones offer this year. Samsung allowed us a brief time with the latest phones and also took us through what's new this time around. From the initial looks of it, the three phones come with incremental upgrades on the design front - they now use sustainable materials like recycled aluminum, recycled glass, and natural dye. However, there has been a slight change in the edges, and it now grips better. This differentiates the in-hand feel among the three, but they're all easy to use overall. The most obvious differentiator is the screen size - the S23 has a 6.1-inch display, S23 Plus has a 6.6-inch display, and the Ultra has the biggest 6.8-inch display. Apart from the size and resolution, there needs to be a distinction in display specifications on paper. For those unaware, the S23 Ultra is the most spec-heavy and high-end variant, while the S23 and S23 Plus are slightly toned down like their predecessors. The Ultra also comes with a stylus at the bottom, which adds the Samsung Note utility to it and lets you make the most of that large-screen real estate. The S-Pen experience is as smooth as it has been in the last two generations. I have always loved Samsung's display tech on its flagship phones; unsurprisingly, it's the same on this one. They feature the same AMOLED 120Hz panel with 1750 Nits of brightness across. In addition, the Ultra has a QHD+, and the other two have an FHD+ resolution. The Galaxy S23 Ultra's display stretches at most parts of the front and has thin bezels. I do not have the exact measure of the bezels, but you can take a look at the pictures to get an idea of how immersive it is. It's crisp, very responsive, and ample bright. We had no complaints about the S22 Ultra's display; this is even better. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra gets a major camera boost <div type="image" title="The S23 Ultra has received a significant upgrade in the camera department" msid="97533035" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The S23 Ultra has received a significant upgrade in the camera department&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> Of the three variants, the S23 Ultra receives a significant bump in the camera department. Although I did not get to test the cameras in detail, we were allowed to use them for an hour inside a closed hall. So details on camera will follow up in our full review. The S23 Ulra now has a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor for the primary camera. That explains that it can capture a huge amount of data and allow long-range hybrid zoom capability (optical + digital). In addition, Samsung emphasizes a new Super Quad Pixel tech that is said to make the autofocus speed 1.5X faster. While I couldn't test it next to the S22 Ultra, it did seem quite snappy during my hands-on experience. The major overhaul comes to the front camera. It now has HDR, dual-pixel autofocus, selfie videos FHD at 60fps, 16-bit RAW selfies, and 2X wider OIS for better stability and noise reduction. There are also some new modes - Astrophotography, Astro-Hyperlapse, and Multi-Exposure. You can now click photos of the stars and galaxies, but again, we couldn't get a chance to use this for now. Strangely, the astrophotography mode wasn't available in the camera app during my experience. The ultrawide camera on all three variants is a 12MP sensor with an f2.2 aperture. The third lens is a 10MP telephoto with OIS and f2.4 aperture in non-Ultra phones, and Ultra has that too, but not just one but two with the second one with f4.9 aperture. You get 8GB RAM options on the non-Ultra models and 8GB and 12GB RAM on the Ultra. The Ultra is said to do real-time ray tracing for mobile games and has a 2.7x larger vapor chamber. It is expected to perform better at gaming, but that's something we'll find out when we get the phone for a long-term review. Battery capacity varies as per the size - S23 has a 3900mAh, S23 Plus has 4700mAh, and the Ultra has a 5000mAh battery. Initial impressions As mentioned, there are few cosmetic changes in the S23 series, meaning nothing is fascinating about the design. However, I like the look and materials used, and if you liked last year's models, you'd like these as well. Looking at what Samsung told us, there is a serious upgrade in the camera department, especially in the S23 Ultra. And it dwarfs the other two models when you keep them side by side. A fair assessment is when the S23 and S23 Plus are used and tested away from Ultra's shadow. All three phones have impressive display panels and all the basic features like IP68 certification, snappy fingerprint reader, wireless charging, and more. The key areas where I want these to excel are performance, battery efficiency, and multitasking. With the custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, these changes are expected to arrive, but it's too early to pass a verdict. Stay tuned for our detailed review to find more answers.

First Impressions: Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra bet big on photography and gaming

<ul><li><keyword id="2201041" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Google-Camera-app">Google Camera app</keyword> is expected to receive an update that lets you capture the <keyword id="11379761" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="night-sky-in-motion">night sky in motion</keyword>. </li><li>An unreleased version of the app shows a feature named astro time-lapse. </li><li>The feature is expected to debut on June 7 alongside a monthly security patch.</li></ul>Google might soon introduce a new camera feature called Astro time-lapse, which could allow users to capture the night sky in motion. The new feature is expected to drop on June 7 alongside the June 2021 security patch update. The expected astro time-lapse feature was spotted by folks at <a href="https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-astrophotography-time-lapse-rumor/">XDA Developers</a> after Google released a new update on the Pixel Tips app, an app that has tutorials about new Pixel features. The report says that Google may release its Pixel Feature Drop update on June 7 with a major camera update. The feature was spotted by XDA on decompiling an unreleased version of the Pixel Tips app. If you install the <keyword id="2200403" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="google-camera">Google Camera</keyword> app version 8.2.3 or higher (the latest publically available is 8.2.204), then you should see the "CameraAstroTimelapse" tip in the Pixel Tips app. Going by the name, the feature should let you capture the night sky in time-lapse. The Google Camera app will likely be able to take an astrophotography shot after a specific time for a couple of hours to capture a time-lapse (a moving shot in fast motion) of stars moving. As for now, the Google Camera app only lets you capture a single picture of the night sky allowing a maximum of 4 minutes of exposure. Mobile phone cameras have time-lapse for quite some time now, and astrophotography has also caught up in recent years on high-end phones. Having a combination of both will be a welcome feature to have as photographers had to rely on professional cameras and editing software to capture the night sky in motion. Note that the APK teardown can give a hint about which features to expect, but it is possible that the feature might not be available on the final built that’s released for the public. Since the decompilation is done on an unreleased version, it is possible that the company might pull the feature in the final build. Overall, the iPhone 13’s size could remain the same as that of the iPhone 12 series. When you go to 30x, the images start losing detail and are grainy. The Pixel 4a's design is also slightly different than that of the Pixel 4; the device has a 5.8-inch OLED screen with a single hole punch-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera. The Pixel 4, by comparison, has a slightly smaller 5.7-inch screen that's framed by a thicker border, while the larger Pixel 4 XL comes in a 6.3-inch size. How an astrophotographer captures breathtaking nebulas, comets, and galaxies

On Saturday, Nov. 8 the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania will launch an art exhibition that is out of this world.
"<a href="http://www.michenermuseum.org/exhibition/starstruck-the-fine-art-of-astrophotography?PHPSESSID=dda2jthj61ltd34t7pjhu9tgt3">Starstruck: The Fine Art of Astrophotography</a>" features 100 images by 35 artists from around the world. The photographs capture the beauty of some of the most stunning scenes from and beyond our home planet.
Each images was carefully selected by a distinguished panel of judges: Weston Naef, the curator emeritus of photography at the <a href="http://www.getty.edu/museum/">J. Paul Getty Museum</a>; Dennis di Cicco, the senior editor of <a href="http://www.skyandtelescope.com/">Sky &amp; Telescope magazine</a>; and Jerry T. Bonnell, the co-editor and author of NASA's <a href="http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html">Astronomy Picture of the Day</a>.
Here's a sneak peak at some of the stunning works of art in this exhibit, which was organized by the <a href="http://www.bates.edu/museum/">Bates College Museum of Art</a> in Maine. It will be on display at the Michener in Doylestown from Nov. 8 through Feb. 8, 2015.

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Erin Sullivan is a travel photographer, writer, and on-camera host based in Los Angeles, California.</li><li>Sullivan has been self-isolating for the past month, which has prevented her from traveling for work as she typically does.</li><li>Sullivan is bringing her work to her home, creating miniature worlds for photo shoots with household items like broccoli, tinfoil, and even pancakes.</li><li>"One of my favorite things about this project has been sharing it with the community and hearing that it's giving people joy," she told Insider.</li><li><a href="https://www.insider.com/?hprecirc-bullet">Visit Insider's homepage for more stories</a>.</li></ul>It's a hard time to be a travel photographer like Erin Sullivan, who's currently self-isolating in her Los Angeles, California, home."I have so much privilege in that I have a safe place to be and that I live in a place where it's safe to go on walks," she told Insider.Despite her positive attitude, it's still difficult for Sullivan that she can't travel to take photos in unique backdrops around the world as she's used to. So she's bringing the abundance of the outdoors inside.<h2>Sullivan has been using household items to create miniature versions of places she's photographed around the world</h2>Sullivan got the idea for the project because of the abstraction that's often a part of her work."I've always been interested in abstraction as a tool for <keyword id="22383" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="photography">photography</keyword>," she said."I always try to abstract what I'm seeing so it gives the audience a little bit of a pause. I wanted to apply that same concept to the things in my house.""How can I abstract a pillowcase? How can I abstract a paper bag and make it look like these places I know very well?" she asked herself.The answer to those questions has turned into <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/ourgreatindoors/">#OurGreatIndoors</a>, a project that has led Sullivan to create everything from a forest made out of broccoli to a canyon made of pancakes.She shares her photos on Instagram, challenging her followers to create their own tiny worlds while they're stuck inside.<h2>When she started the project, Sullivan had to think about how she could convey scale to her viewers</h2>Because she's trying to make small items seem larger, Sullivan had to find a way to make her scenes look bigger than they are. She decided to use small, human figurines to make the areas seem big.Sullivan ordered the figurines online, and she's reused them for each shoot."It feels really hilarious doing the series. You just have to laugh it's so ridiculous," she said. "And the images have been really neat."<h2>Sullivan has worked to be responsible with the process and materials she uses in this project</h2>Sullivan primarily uses things she already has around the house for her shoots.But if she needs any additional materials, she'll grab it on her weekly grocery run, rather than adding any additional outings to her week that could increase her interactions with others."Nothing goes to waste. I really don't want to be wasting anything just for a photo right now," she said."So I did a pancake canyon, and we ate all those pancakes.""I kept the sugar from the sugar sand dunes," she said of another shoot.Sullivan said the time it takes her to do a shoot varies, but it's thinking of an idea that takes her the longest.Her concepts will often come to her while she's falling asleep or working out.Actually setting up the shoot might take as few as 10 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes of actually taking pictures, or she could be working for as long as two hours."It's unpredictable," she said.<h2>The project has been keeping Sullivan's creativity alive</h2>"It gives me some momentum and something to look forward to in my day because I'm not going out shooting right now," she said of the project."Normally, I spend a lot of time on the road or shooting things outside, so for me it's a way to keep that part of my life alive in a totally different way and a totally different scale."But she also said it's been a nice way to connect with others during a period that can be very isolating for people."One of my favorite things about this project has been sharing it with the community and hearing that it's giving people joy," she told Insider."People have taken on the challenge to do with their kids. They've said it's been fun and it's a nice break.""But also it reminds us of the places that we love," she added, making people feel less disconnected from the outside world.She encouraged others to try her #OurGreatIndoors challenge, even if they aren't professional photographers."You don't need to be a professional. Just don't be too attached to the result," she said."Don't compare yourself or your work to others.
