<ul><li>Spiritual leader Sadhguru and his non-profit organisation Isha Outreach is India’s largest advertiser on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for social and political causes. </li><li>Sadhguru and Isha Outreach spent ₹1.35 lakhs per day on Facebook and Instagram in the last quarter, amounting to ad spends of ₹1,20,91,079.</li><li>After Sadhuguru, micro-blogging platform Koo and OTT player Voot Select were the largest spenders of advertising monies on Meta platforms.</li></ul>Spiritual leader Jagadish Vasudev, more popularly known as Sadhguru, and his non-profit organisation Isha Outreach spent ₹1.35 lakhs per day on Facebook and Instagram advertising between April 27 and July 25. According to a recent report released by Hyderabad-based enterprise digital marketing agency Pyrite Technologies, Sadhguru and Isha Outreach's Conscious Planet are India’s largest advertisers on Meta platforms in social and political causes category. They spent a total of 1.20 crores on Facebook and Instagram. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is an Indian yoga guru. He has more than 8.5 million followers on Instagram, 5.2 million fans on Facebook and 3.9 million followers on Twitter. Sadhuguru's Isha Foundation, according to its website, is also associated with a bouquet of business enterprises such as Isha Raiment, Isha Foods and Spices, Isha Crafts, Isha Naturo Organic Solutions, to mention a few. Following Sadhguru on the largest advertisers list is micro-blogging platform Koo. It spent almost ₹87 lakh on Meta in the 90-day period. Launched in 2019, Koo recently raised ₹79 crore from Caspier Venture Partner, Ashneer Grover and Ravi Modi Family Trust. <div type="image" title="Sadhguru gfx" msid="93287319" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Pyrite&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> India’s third largest advertiser, as per Pyrite, is OTT platform Voot Select with ad spends of ₹67 lakh. Voot Select is business tycoon Mukesh Ambani-led Viacom18’s subscription-based streaming platform. Political parties Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and BJP Gujarat also appeared on the list of top Indian advertisers on Meta. It is pertinent to note that as per India's advertising rules, not all Indian brands are not obliged to declare their spends as they don’t fall <a href="https://e4mevents.com/pitch-madison-advertising-report-2021/public/PMAR-Report-2021.pdf" data-type="tilCustomLink">under social causes category.</a> Between April 27 and July 25, Meta saw more than 12,863 advertisers from India and collected ₹13.94 crores in advertising revenues. As per analytics platform <a href="https://napoleoncat.com/stats/facebook-users-in-india/2022/07/">Napolean Cat,</a> there were 515,800,000 Facebook users in India in July 2022, which accounted for 36.2% of its entire population. The growing number of advertisers and users in India makes the country a <a href="https://www.statista.com/statistics/268136/top-15-countries-based-on-number-of-facebook-users/#:~:text=Apart%20from%20India%2C%20there%20are,116%20million%20Facebook%20users%20respectively.">top </a>market for Facebook.

His appeal transcends age, race, religion, gender and ethnicity. Sadhguru has an intimate involvement with nature and understanding of how human life is inextricably woven with the elements. This has guided many of Isha’s ecological initiatives. He launched Rally for Rivers (RfR) in 2017 to raise awareness about India’s dying rivers. <ul><li>DSP Investment Managers launches a silver <keyword id="6357062" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="etf" source="Orion">ETF</keyword>, which will invest in <keyword id="4257203" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="physical-silver" source="Orion">physical silver</keyword> and silver related instruments.</li><li>Investment in silver can be a hedge against traditional equity and debt products.</li><li>Silver ETF is more suited to experienced investors who understand commodity cycles.</li></ul>DSP Investment Managers on Monday launched DSP Silver ETF (<keyword id="181067" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="exchange-traded-fund" source="Orion">exchange traded fund</keyword>), which will invest in physical silver and silver related instruments. This investment vehicle will give investors an opportunity to invest in this precious metal without physically holding it. The ETF’s price will be in line with the price movement of silver. Silver prices are driven by its industrial consumption and supply side dynamics. The precious metal is a hedge against the traditional equity-debt portfolio, as silver has low-correlation with both asset classes. However, silver is a high-risk asset class and, therefore, it is more suited to investors who understand precious metals and commodity cycles. A silver ETF can be used to hedge against equity and debt market products in times of volatility. “This new ETF offers investors an easier way to buy or sell silver compared to the physical version with the freedom to trade easily,” said DSP Investment Managers on Monday. Moreover, demand for physical silver is also very high because of its wide use across industries including jewelry businesses, solar panels and electrical conductors. Data suggests that close to 50% of the world's silver is consumed by electronics, auto, power, pharma and many other industries but the supply and availability for recycling is limited. DSP believes that as the world shifts to renewable and cleaner energy resources, there is potential for demand to go up since silver is a crucial raw material. DSP Silver ETF would allow investors to buy the precious metal starting from a ticket size of ₹5000. The new fund offer (NFO) of the Silver ETF opens for subscription on 1 August and closes on 12 August. Besides, silver can also potentially act as leverage against a depreciating rupee. This is because silver prices in India are derived from international silver prices but are then converted after adding currency effects and other costs of landing. “Investing in silver via an ETF is a modern and smart way for investors to gain exposure to this precious metal in an easy, digital form. Increasing demand for silver in industries, newer technologies and a shift to renewable sources of energy and the safe-haven demand can also act as favourable tailwinds for the metal. However, investors should expect fluctuations in short-term returns, especially during times of market volatility,” Anil Ghelani, CFA, head – passive investments and products at DSP Investment Managers. ETFs are a type of funds that are bought and sold the same as a stock on the exchange and the underlying asset in this case would be silver. The price of the ETF is tracked to an underlying index, here it will follow the price of silver in the real world. We believe that the more time we spend engaging in ‘productive’ activities, the more productive we are, overall. But that may not necessarily be true according to Arianna Huffington of Thrive Global and Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation. During the session titled, ‘Ease of living - Ensuring productive, efficient society,’ the two shared tips and micro-changes that people can implement in order to ‘design a life that works for them’. One of those micro-changes can potentially be just putting your phone in its own bed at night. Why <keyword id="10833" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Phones">phones</keyword> need their own beds “It has never been easier to run away from ourselves because we’re all increasingly linked with our phones that we carry everywhere — that is the repository of every project, of every problem, and that we sleep with it — which is totally absurd,” said Huffington. Sleeping with your phone means that it’s much harder for you to connect with your own body’s user’s manual as per Sadhguru. And, that’s where the ‘phone-bed’ comes in. The phone-bed by Thrive, in its essence, is just a charging a station. But more than the bed, it’s about a ritual, Huffington pointed out It’s one of the reasons why the phone-bed comes with its own blanket — people can use it to actually ‘tuck in’ their phones, say good night, and put their phones soundly to bed, outside their own bedroom. Her logic is that human beings learn through rituals and if everyone has one at night, they’re more likely to stick to it. She adds, “Everybody never comes to a point in the day where they say, ‘I’ve done everything that I could’ve possibly have done’ — if you can say that then you don’t have any interest in your job and I suggest you change jobs.” So putting your phone to bed is your way of implementing an arbitrary end to the day — to able to connect with yourself. Huffington iterated that, “Success is not determined by how many hours you spend on your desk, it depends on the quality of your decisions, on your ability to see around corners at what’s going to happen and on your ability to motivate others — to inspire teams. And all of these things deteriorate when we have not been connected with ourselves.” According to her, this is because society is plagued with collective delusion, which actually stems from the first industrial revolution, that the goal for human beings is identical to that of machines — to always be on. But, in fact, a little more downtime could go a long in way making sure that the time we do spend working, is actually more productive.
