The eight-year-old company has not disclosed the amount it plans to raise with this public issue. The IPO would only consist of secondary share sale to provide exits to existing shareholders and promoters. Investors such as Flipkart’s Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal, Elevation Capital, Accel India and Sequoia Capital India would be selling their shareholdings. Founders Goyal and Singh hold 25.46% stake in the company. Tracxn was founded in 2013 and launched in 2015. The firm offers private company data for deal sourcing, identifying mergers and acquisition (M&amp;A) targets, deal diligence, analysis and tracking emerging themes across industries and markets. It claims to track over 1.4 million private companies and works with 855 subscription customers across 50 countries. Its customer base would include venture capital (VC) firms, private equity funds and large corporates. Tracxn reported a revenue of ₹55.7 crore in the financial year that ended March 2021. The company claims that 70% of its revenue comes from outside India, primarily Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and North American markets. Private market intelligence firm Tracxn files for an IPO

E-commerce player <keyword id="541988" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Snapdeal" source="Orion">Snapdeal</keyword> has shelved its plan for IPO through which it was planning to issue fresh equity shares worth Rs 1,250 crore amid weak market conditions, the company has said. The company had earlier announced placing over 3 crore shares for an offer for sale under its IPO plan. The company has not decided on any fresh timeline for the IPO. When contacted, a Snapdeal spokesperson said: "Considering the prevailing market conditions, the company has decided to withdraw the DRHP. The company may reconsider an IPO in the future, depending on its need for growth capital and market conditions". At the time of filing the draft paper with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), market sources had indicated the company is looking at a valuation of over USD 1.5 to 1.7 billion. Under the offer, Starfish I Pte, Wonderful Stars, Sequoia Capital, Kenneth Stuart Glass, Myriad Opportunities Master Fund, Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan Board, Laurent Amouyal and Milestone Trusteeship Services were selling their shares. However, Snapdeal's founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal were not selling their holdings in the IPO. Once a leading player in the Indian e-commerce space, Snapdeal has seen its fortunes falling amid strong competition from rivals Amazon and Flipkart. In 2017, Snapdeal walked away from a potential merger deal with Flipkart and instead pursued what it called the 'Snapdeal 2.0' strategy to become "financially self-sustainable". Snapdeal focuses exclusively on the value segment, with more than 90 per cent of the products sold on the platform priced below Rs 1,000 and more than 80 per cent of its users residing beyond the metro cities. Snapdeal has announced its plans to expand into omnichannel distribution through partner-driven offline stores. The company ⁠— whose last reported valuation was $104 million, as per <a href="https://tracxn.com/d/companies/ixigo.com">Tracxn</a> ⁠— is expected to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator <keyword id="63783" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Securities-and-Exchange-Board">Securities and Exchange Board</keyword> of India (<keyword id="35210" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="sebi">SEBI</keyword>) by mid August. The conversion from a private limited company to a public limited company is the first step towards an IPO. A public limited structure allows companies to raise capital from the stock market. Indian laws do not allow a private company to invite the public to subscribe to its shares. The development comes a day after the 14-year old online travel agency (<keyword id="6607315" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="OTA">OTA</keyword>) appointed six independent board members, including former IRCTC chairperson and managing director Pratap Mall, former Nasscom foundation chairperson Arun Seth and GSF Accelerator founder Rajesh Sawhney. Banking and insurance sector veteran Shubha Rao Mayya, Hopper founder Frederic Lalonde, and Hamstede Living MD and chief executive officer (CEO) Rahul Pandit will also be joining the board as independent directors, ixigo’s CEO and cofounder Aloke Bajpai announced on <keyword id="6354616" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Twitter">Twitter</keyword>. Ixigo raised $53 million in a pre-IPO round from Singapore-based GIC.
