Elephant falls

One of the most popular waterfalls near Shillong, Elephant Falls is known for its three-tiered cascades and scenic surroundings. It gets its name from a rock resembling an elephant near the falls.

Located in the Mawlyngbna village, Wei Saw Dong Falls is a majestic cascade surrounded by dense forests. The sight of the water plunging down the rocky cliffs is truly mesmerizing.

Seven sister falls

Also known as Nohsngithiang Falls, Seven Sisters Falls is a seven-segmented waterfall located near Cherrapunji. During the monsoon season, the falls come alive, presenting a stunning display of nature's grandeur.

Situated in Thangkharang Park near Cherrapunjee, Kynrem Falls is a three-tiered waterfall that cascades down from a height of around 305 meters. It is a spectacular sight to behold.
