Trump tweets about increase in 'Fake News' after following CNN on Twitter for an hour

• President Donald Trump appeared to follow CNN on Twitter and then unfollow the network an hour later before tweeting about an increase in "Fake News."
• During that period, CNN tweeted about Stormy Daniels, the porn star who accused Trump of paying her to remain silent about an affair they allegedly had.
• Trump claims to not watch CNN, but has admitted to watching it a bit in the past. Trump has consistently bashed CNN's coverage of him as "fake news."

President Donald Trump appeared to follow CNN on Twitter and then unfollow the network an hour later before tweeting about an increase in "Fake News."

"So much Fake News. Never been more voluminous or more inaccurate. But through it all, our country is doing great!" Trump tweeted.

His tweet followed a one-hour period wherein Trump appeared to follow CNN on Twitter, as shown on TrumpsAlerts, a Twitter bot that follows the Twitter activity of the Trump family.

During that period, CNN tweeted about Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, the porn star who accused Trump of paying her to remain silent about an affair they allegedly had in 2006.

On Sunday night, Clifford told "60 Minutes" that she had been threatened by an unknown man to keep quiet about her involvement with Trump.

"He leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, 'That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom.' And then he was gone," said Clifford.

Trump has long bashed CNN for its coverage of his campaign and presidency, liberally applying the "fake news" label to the network. Trump consistently denies watching CNN, but had admitted on previous occasions to being "forced" to watch the network.
