U2 heads to India, Bono says it will be “one of the greatest nights of my life”

One of the world’s most legendary bands U2 is bringing its Joshua Tree tour to India. This will be U2’s debut show in India.

The band will be playing on December 15, at DY Patil stadium in Mumbai.

In a promotional video for the show, the band’s lead vocalist Bono said that the Mumbai show will be “one of the greatest nights of my life”.


The tickets will go on sale by the end of September. However, fans can now head to BookMyShow to register themselves for an early bird sale. The subscriber sale will go on from September 24 and 25.

PhonePe users can also get early access to tickets between September 26 and 29.

General tickets will go live from October 1 onwards.

The Mumbai show will also be the final stop of the band’s Joshua Tree tour which travelled to New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and the Philippines.

BookMyShow’s founder Ashish Hemrajani said that the show “will be nothing short of historic."
