Hollywood actor Will Ferrell gatecrashed The Tennis Channel's commentary booth during Roger Federer's match with Jérémy Chardy at the 2018 Indian Wells Masters.

Best known for his roles in "Anchorman," "Old School," and "Elf," Ferrell provided a raucous analysis of the players entering the court, the coin toss, and the fourth-round match itself in California.

According to Ferrell, Federer is 6-foot-7-inches, a witch, and travels around Switzerland in a mobile home. He also claimed to be Chardy's biggest fan. "Jérémy Chardy is my favourite player. I have a Jérémy Chardy back tattoo," he joked.

When the players made their way to a court on a buggy, Ferrell got excited, calling it a "sweet ride."

He then got confused by the coin toss, as he seemed to think whoever won the toss won the match itself. "[This is] the critical coin toss," Ferrell said. "Wait, what happened. Is that it? Oh, they're going to play for the fun of it. It's just an exhibition round now."

Federer went on to beat Chardy in straight sets - 7-5, 6-4 - and takes on Chung Hyeon in Friday's quarterfinal.

Watch Ferrell wreak havoc here:

Ferrell may claim to be Chardy's biggest fan, but his actions say differently. After all, he has been seen in the stands at a number of Federer matches and he even interviewed Federer as Anchorman character Ron Burgundy at the Australian Open earlier this year.

At the Australian Open, Ferrell asked Federer if he would compare his tennis style to "a silky gazelle." He also asked if Federer was "a witch or a vampire" and if it is true that the secret to his success is "wombat meat, the national food of Australia."
