Xiaomi today launched the Redmi 7A in India, making it the latest entry-level offering from the company. The Redmi 7A succeeds the Redmi 6A that was launched last year, but this time around, Xiaomi has opted for a Qualcomm chipset instead of a MediaTek one.

The Redmi 7A was launched in China back in May this year. The primary highlights of the device include the splash resistant body, Snapdragon 439 chipset and the 4,000mAh battery. Additionally, Xiaomi has upgraded the rear camera when compared to the Chinese version of the device.
