As the year 2014 is coming to a close, India’s automobile major Tata is prepping up for a new beginning.
Tata Motors’
Bolt will hit the street on January 20, 2015.
The country’s largest
car manufacturer has started accepting online bookings for the hatchback model for a meagre booking amount of Rs 11,000. The new model promises to offer an exceptionally powerful ride—all thanks to its 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron MPFi petrol engine.
Other features that the Bolt would come equipped with includes: Bosch’s ninth generation anti-lock braking system, dual airbags and corner stability control.
These advanced safety features will not only help you stay in control, at the same time would ensure a safety ride as well.
Tata Bolt will also have several entertainment and connectivity features; for instance: advanced voice command recognition and smartphone-enabled navigation system.
The interior of the car, which we checked out on the company website, looks quite spacious. Its
rugby shoulder seats look comfortable enough to sink in, but we can’t be so sure unless we try it out ourselves. Bolt is expected to be launched at a starting price of Rs 4.3 lakh. (Image: Tata Motors)
