Samsung just made mobile gaming better like never before with the launch of two new 4G enabled smartphones in the J series- Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7.

“With consumers embracing the 4G revolution, we are looking at expanding our product offerings. With optimal features and great value proposition for our consumers, the new devices will offer an uncompromised smartphone experience, at very competitive prices,” said Asim Warsi, VP, Marketing IT & Mobile at Samsung India.

According to Samsung’s research, 87 per cent of mid-segment Smartphone users in India in the age of 18-25 years engage in mobile gaming. Hence, Samsung, in partnership with Gameloft, a leading publisher of games for mobile, developed a unique multi-player gaming proposition to provide a more engaging entertainment platform.

So what makes it different than the rest?

“64-bit Quad-Core and Octa-Core (J5 and J7 respectively) with 1.5 GB RAM and comfortable grip while operating or playing a game on the phone makes its gaming experience better than the rest,” said Manu Sharma, Director - Smartphones & Tablets, Samsung India Electronics.

Why an online exclusive launch?

“We believe that a lot of 4G consumers would be online consumers,” said Manu.

And that brings us to the next big thing in these products. Samsung also partnered with Airtel to provide an introductory offer for 4G users which will include double data offer. That means the consumer will be able to enjoy all the facilities of Airtel operator which include Wynk applications too.

“Device ecosystem is a critical prerequisite for 4G proliferation,” said Ajay Puri, Director-Market Operations, Bharti Airtel (India and South Asia).
