Auto Expo 2023: Upcoming electric cars and bikes in India in 2023

MG Motor MG4

MG Motor unveiled the MG4, the company’s fully-electric hatchback that offers up to 451 km of range on a single charge. It is expected to launch in 2023 in India.

Kia Concept EV9

Kia showcased the Concept EV9, a futuristic electric car that is expected to go into production in the second half of 2023. It offers 482 km of range and comes with solar panels.

BYD Seal

Warren Buffet-backed BYD showcased Seal, a luxury sedan that is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of the year. It promises a range of 700 km on a single charge.

Hyundai IONIQ 5

Hyundai finally launched the IONIQ 5 electric car, with a price tag of ₹44.95 lakh at the Auto Expo 2023. The car offers 631 km of range and 18 minutes of charge powers the battery from 10 to 80 percent.

Toyota bZ4X

Japanese automaker Toyota showcased its first all-electric SUV, the bZ4X at the Auto Expo 2023. It offers a range of 559 km on a single charge and is expected to be launched in India this year.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata has showcased the Harrier EV, which looks identical to its ICE counterpart. The car is expected to be launched with a 60 to 70kWh battery pack.

Ultraviolette F77

The upcoming electric superbike, the Ultraviolette F77 will also be showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. The electric bike is priced starting at ₹3.8 lakh and goes up to ₹5.5 lakh.

Matter Concept-EXE

Matter has unveiled the Concept-EXE, an upcoming electric sports bike. It comes with battery swapping technology, allowing you to easily swap batteries instead of waiting for it to be charged.
