Kia showcases Concept EV9 electric car with solar panels, Carnival KA4 MPV
Automaker Kia has unveiled two cars at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023. The first is a futuristic concept electric car, dubbed as the Concept EV9. The company also showcased the next-gen Kia Carnival MPV, dubbed as the KA4 at the event.

The Concept EV9 is a futuristic electric car expected to go into production at the end of 2023. It features a squarish design with Z-shaped headlamp clusters, three-row seats, and a wide panoramic sunroof.

The Concept EV9 is expected to offer a range of 482 km on a single charge. Additionally, it features solar panels near the bonnet that allow the car to be charged on the go.

Kia has also showcased the next-gen Carnival, codenamed KA4. It was globally unveiled in 2020. It is expected to be launched in India this year.

The car has a revamped grille, rectangular projector headlamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, and dual sunroof. The car is expected to be launched with a 2.2-liter diesel engine that can generate 201 hp and 440 Nm of torque.
