After a few turbulent months, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is back on top with 19,630 vehicles sold in January 2024, up from 16,357 vehicles sold in January 2023.

The Tata Punch, an affordable SUV from Tata Motors is on the second position with a sale of 17,978 cars sold in January 2024, up from 12,006 cars sold in December 2022. It has emerged as the most selling SUV in India and Tata’s most selling car.

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR, one of the company’s most popular cars, reported a sale of 17,756 in January 2024, down from 20,466 vehicles sold in November 2022, an increase of 13 percent.

The Tata Nexon SUV has emerged as the second most selling SUV in India in January 2024 and the fourth most selling car. The company sold 17,182 units of the SUV, up from 15,567 cars sold in January 2023.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has reported a decent increase in sales year-on-year. The car’s sales increased to 16,773 units in January 2024 up from 11,317 in January 2023, a 48 percent increase.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of the company’s most popular hatchback, has reported a slight year-on-year decrease in sales. The company sold 15,370 cars in January 2024, down from 16,440 cars in January 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza is next on the list with 15,303 cars sold in January 2024, up from 14,359 cars sold in January 2023, a 7 percent year-on-year increase.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has reported a sale of 15,632 cars in January 2024, up from 9,750 cars sold in January 2023, a fifty percent year-on-year increase.

The Mahindra Scorpio is the next SUV on the list, with a sale of 14,293 cars in January 2024, up from 8,715 cars in January 2023, an increase of 64 percent, recording the highest increase in the list.

A new offering from Maruti Suzuki, the Fronx has made its debut in the list with 13,643 cars sold in January 2024. The car is less than a year old and has been one of the emerging cars for the company.
