It’s now the 28th most-valued company, whereas its rank was at number 10 by the end of December. Here is the new list of the top 10 firms.

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries continues to be India’s most-valued in India. However, its market cap came down to ₹15.69 lakh crore on February 3, from ₹17.23 lakh crore on December 30, 2022.

The IT giant maintains its position of the second most-valuable company with a market cap of ₹12.74 lakh crore as of February 3, up from ₹11.91 lakh crore on December 30, 2022.

The private sector bank is the third most-valuable company with a market cap of ₹9.15 lakh crore, which has risen from ₹9.07 lakh crore last year.

The IT giant’s market capitalisation has increased to ₹6.7 lakh crore as on February 3, rising from ₹6.34 lakh crore in December 2022.

The FMCG giant has edged past ICICI Bank, to become the fifth most-valuable company with a market cap of ₹6.19 lakh crore, up from ₹6.01 lakh crore in December, 2022. It was the sixth most valuable company last year.

The private sector lender has slid down to the sixth position from fifth last year. Its market cap fell to ₹5.96 lakh crore as on Feb 3, from ₹6.21 lakh crore on December 30, 2022.

The largest mortgage lender has now become the seventh-largest company in 2023, climbing up a position since December last year. HDFC’s market cap has increased to ₹4.86 lakh crore, up from ₹4.81 lakh crore by 2022 end.

The country’s largest public sector bank is now the eighth most-valuable Indian company with a market capitalisation of ₹4.73 lakh crore. This too came down from ₹5.47 lakh crore in December last year.

The hotels-to-cigarettes conglomerate has entered the top 10 club of most- valuable Indian companies, securing the ninth position with a market cap of ₹4.66 lakh crore compared to ₹4.11 lakh crore last year in December. The company ranked 12th in December.

The telecom operator is the tenth most-valuable company with a market capitalisation of ₹4.38 lakh crore, which came down from ₹4.56 lakh crore in December last year.
