Finding the top 10 dating apps in India

AppTweak — which is used by Amazon, Zynga and Adobe to grow their apps and games with actionable insights — has released a list of top 10 dating apps with the highest downloads in India. The data has been calculated between February 1 to 15.

Quack Quack

Quack Quack connects local singles based on their beliefs, quirks and interests. It was the most downloaded app on Google Play store and was not among the top 10 dating apps on the Apple App store. Average daily downloads in February (from Feb 1 to 15): 16,000.

Tinder

As usual, Tinder was among the most downloaded apps on both Google Play Store and Apple App store. Over the past six months, Tinder received an average of 14,500 daily downloads. Average daily downloads in February: 15,500.

Bumble

Bumble’s download rate grew by 60.8 percent between February 1 to February 15, around Valentine's week. Over the past six months, Bumble received an average of 9,200 daily downloads. Average daily downloads in February: 13,500.

TrulyMadly

Indian-origin dating and matchmaking platform TrulyMadly was the sixth most downloaded app on Google Play store and eight most downloaded app on App Store. Average daily downloads in February: 8,680.

Happn

Happn is a location-based social search mobile app that allows users to like or dislike other users, and allows users to chat if both parties liked each other. Average daily downloads in February: 8,020.

Aisle

Aisle was the sixth most downloaded app on a daily basis between February 1 to February 15. Average daily downloads in February: 6,620.

Dil Mil

South Asian dating app DilMil has been gaining momentum in India as well. The app received 2,790 on Play Store and 193 downloads on App store on a daily basis. Average daily downloads in February: 4,260.

Flutrr

Flutrr is a multilingual vernacular dating app. It received an average of 1,120 downloads on Google Play store on a daily basis in February. Average daily downloads in February: 3,760.

Grindr is a social networking app for the LGBTQ community. Its downloads increased 27.3 percent around Valentine’s day. Average daily downloads in February: 2,980.
