At 9:00 a.m. ET, the S&P/Case-Shiller home price report for September is set for release.
Economists estimate that the 20-city index rose 0.3% month-on-month, and 5.10% year-on-year.
In a client preview, Bank of America Merrill Lynch economists wrote: "There has been a fairly steady gain in home prices throughout this year, as demand continues to outpace supply for housing. As a result, housing is already slightly overvalued relative to income, in our view."
