<p>It's a survey of <em>private</em> companies taken by ADP, the payroll company. It's designed to give an approximation of the official jobs report.</p>
<p>And given how big the official jobs report is going to be this week (because it could influence the Fed) this is a big deal.</p>
<p>According to Bloomberg, the consensus is for 184K new jobs, down from 200K last month.</p>
<p>We'll have the number here at 8:15 AM ET.</p>
