Fantasia Barrino has solidified herself as a fashion icon.
Barrino, 39, dressed to impress in recent months while promoting "The Color Purple," a star-studded film adaptation of the Broadway musical directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by industry giants like Oprah Winfrey.
The film, which hit theatres on November 20, has already received acclaim and helped Barrino snag her first Golden Globe nomination for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture.
"The first thing I do in the morning is call my husband — I remember picking up the phone, and he was screaming," Barrino told Deadline in December. "That's when he told me I had been nominated for a Golden Globe, and I started crying. This has been a long time coming for me."
Amid the fanfare, fans online have praised Barrino for her stylish fashion moments during the film's press tour.

Barrino attended the 2024 Astra Film Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday wearing an orange gown designed by Yousef Akbar, according to Barrino's stylist, Daniel Hawkins, who shared details on Instagram.
The gown featured one puffed sleeve and was paired with gold accents, including a gold chain acting as a collar.
Barrino wore a custom-made Sergio Hudson gown in December.

Barrino arrived at the "The Color Purple" world premiere in December 2023 wearing the black and white Sergio Hudson gown, which cinched at the waist and featured a train. Barrino's gown was paired with black gloves and silver jewelry.
