But this is MLB and not all teams are created equally and some still have a huge advantage over others.</p><p>Below is a look at the opening-day payrolls for all 30 teams, <a href="http://www.spotrac.com/" target="_blank">based on data collected from Spotrac</a>. The Dodgers lead the way with a whopping $253 million payroll. To put that in perspective, that is nearly $60 million more than Brewers, Rays, and Marlins, <em>combined</em> ($196 million).</p><p>The Dodgers also have $178 million committed to position players alone, a total that is greater than the payrolls of 26 teams.
