The 2016 Major League Baseball season is now underway and every team is still dreaming of October, even the Phillies. But this is MLB and not all teams are created equally and some still have a huge advantage over others.

Below is a look at the opening-day payrolls for all 30 teams, based on data collected from Spotrac. The Dodgers lead the way with a whopping $253 million payroll. To put that in perspective, that is nearly $60 million more than Brewers, Rays, and Marlins, combined ($196 million).

The Dodgers also have $178 million committed to position players alone, a total that is greater than the payrolls of 26 teams. Meanwhile, the Giants have the largest amount committed to pitchers, at $96.2 million.
