Pune, May 14 () A suspected coronavirus patientallegedly committed suicide by jumping off the third floor ofa private hospital here on Thursday evening, a police officersaid.<p>He took the extreme step apparently out of fear ofcontracting the deadly disease, he said.</p><p>"The deceased, aged between 25 and 30, was admitted tothe hospital and his COVID-19 test result was awaited," saidthe officer attached to the Khadaki police station.</p>The person allegedly jumped off the third floor of theprivate hospital and died on the spot, he added.
