Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani launched India’s cheapest phone-JioPhone-free of cost. Users will just have to pay Rs 1500 as security deposit which will be returned after three years.

The JioPhone, which was launched during the 40^th AGM of Reliance Industries, will disrupt the feature phone market.

While addressing the gathering, Ambani said JioPhone will make the 2G feature phone obsolete. “With this, I am sure Jio will set a new world record,” he said.

Ambani said he wants every India should have access to data and reiterated his belief that ‘data is the oxygen in today’s world’.
